Hi! I'm a nursing student from Ontario and the creator of Pharmacology Made Simple! I know firsthand how overwhelming studying medications can feel. Creating simple, organized drug cards not only helped me excel in my pharmacology exams, but also helped me truly understand each medication rather than just memorize information. During my hospital clinical placements, this knowledge helped me feel more confident understanding why my patients were receiving certain medications, how they worked, and the important nursing considerations when administering them.
I created this collection of 76 colour-coded drug cards to help other nursing students feel more confident and prepared! Each card breaks down how a medication works, its therapeutic uses, common side effects, serious risks, nursing considerations, and patient teaching. Whether you're studying for an exam or preparing for clinical, my goal is to make pharmacology easier to understand and less overwhelming!
